If you see a internet forward saying Sailor Stars is being dubbed, please ignore it. The rumor is not true. The rumor was a April's Fool joke that got out of hand.

Recently, while making the rounds in Tokyo, several industry insiders mentioned to Fanboy the rumors circulating that Naoko Takeuchi is currently in the process of updating her now "classic" Sailor Moon series for 2001. While it can not be officially confirmed (and may not be for a while), the rumors make sense given the current boom of classic manga and anime revivals in Japan.
Sources indicate that the popular Sailor Moon characters will be changed and updated for a whole new generation of manga readers and anime viewers later this year. There seem to be conflicting rumors though as to if Ms. Takeuchi is simply updating the old Sailor Moon characters, creating an entirely all new cast of Sailor Scouts or combining aspects of both.
Fanboy has its ears to the ground and our feelers are out so we will bringing you any breaking news and updates as we get them.

Naoko Takeuchi has given birth to a baby boy. The news was announced in the January 2001 edition of Young You magazine

The Sailormoon S DVD's have been delayed until February 6, 2001

ADV has gotten the rights to the first two seasons of Sailor Moon from Dic. They are releasing the 82 episodes on tape. These are the dub episodes not the originals. The first tape came out November 21 entitled "The Legend Begins". More tapes will follow before Christmas.

The Pioneer VHS/DVD'S of the S and SuperS series will start January 23, 2001. Two volumes will be released that day called "Pure Hearts" and "Love War" with three episodes per tape or DVD

They have found out that the episode that was skipped in the first run of the S dub will be played during the second run. The title of the episode is "Goodness Eclipsed". The episode was decided by Cartoon Network to be to violent, so Cloverway is dubbing another episode that will be suitable

Pioneer Animation has announced that they will release a dub verion of S and SuperS on video and also a subtitled version of video. There will be a DVD version with the dubbed and subtitled versions on it.
