The Black Moon Family were the villians of the second story of the manga. Their goal was to recreate history and destroy Tokyo in the past.

Cooan-Cooan appears in act 14, poising as Kurozuki Cooan. At the T*A Girls School festival she does a fortune-telling booth. Rei suspects something and confronts her. Cooan uses her flames on Rei but is destroyed by Sailormoon's "Moon Princess Halation"

Beruche-In act 15, Beruche appears. She goes on television as the famous dowser, Miss Beruche. On television she says she wants to challenge the genius girl, Mizuno Ami. As the chess match, Beruche calls her Sailormercury and confronts her. Ami uses her "Shine Snow Illusion" but it doesn't work. Beruche uses her power to entrap Ami ina ball of water but is killed by "Moon Princess Halation"

Petz-Petz appears in act 16. She spreads a virus over the city of Tokyo, which infects Makoto. Petz sends droids to replace the people of Tokyo, but Makoto destroys her and confronts Petz. Jupiter uses her "Flower Hurricane" and her "Sparkling Wide Pressure" but they have no effect. Petz traps Jupiter in a wind storm before she is killed by Sailormoon.

Calveras-Calveras appears in act 17. She tells Rubeus she will accomplish mission code 4, operation rebirth. Calveras comes on television as the world-famous channeler, Miss Calveras. She tels the people of Earth to destroy the Mystical Silver Crystal and the ones of the white moon. Minako comes into the t.v. station and confronts her. Calveras blasts energy at Minako but Moon shows up and destroys her.

Chiral and Achiral-These two workers of the Black Moon Family appear in act 18. They introduce themselves at the Boule Brothers and trap Minako, Usagi, Mamoru and Chibiusa in a magnetic field. They die when Venus uses her "Venus Love-Me Chain" and Tuxedo Kamen uses his "Tuxedo La Smoking Bamba".

Rubeus-Rubeus first appears in act 14, with the four sisters. He kidnappes Rei, Ami, and Makoto and takes them to Nemesis. In act 17, he tries to capture Chibiusa but is stopped by "Tuxedo La Smoking Bamba". He is later killed by Wiseman, for being a traitor.

Esmeraude-Esmeraude appears many times throught the arc. In act 19, she uses her death hands to choke Chibiusa and the others. She is destroyed by Tuxedo Kamen's "Tuxedo La Smoking Bamba".

Safir-Safir is the brother of Demando. He makes the droids for the Black Moon. In act 20 he tries to kill Usagi, saying she nad her silver crystal has upset history. In act 22 he is mainupulated by Wiseman and Black Lady and killed by Demando.

Demando-Demando is the prince of the Black Moon and leader of the family. In act 19 he kidnapps Usagi and takes her to Nemesis. He has an obession with Neo-Queen Selenity. In act 22 he gets the crystal of past and future and tries tp put them together. Pluto uses her "Time Stop" and Usagi recovers the crystals. Demando is killed by Moon and Tuxedo Kamen.

Black Lady-Black Lady appears in the shadows in act 20 and fully shown in act 21. She is the evil form of Chibiusa. She says she will get the crystals of the past and future for Wiseman. She brainwashes Mamoru, calling him Endymion. She returns to normal in act 23 after Pluto dies, which causes her to regain her memory.

Wiseman-Wiseman was also the Death Phantom. He is the one who convinced Demando and the others to go to Nemesis and use the Evil Black Crystal. In act 23 he is destroyed by Sailormoon and Sailorchibimoon's "Moon Princess Halation"
