Please send me feedback! -------------------------------------------- In Crystal Tokyo… A dark cloud surrounded the city. There were people running everywhere, trying to hide from the creatures from the Negaverse. The scouts hid behind a huge stone pillar, trying to figure out what to do next. “What should we do, Eric-kun?” Mako asked. “We need to get to the castle. Queen Serenity will know what to do.” They all started to sneak towards the palace when a monster trapped them! “VENUS CRESCENT BEAM…” “SPARKLING WIDE…” “SMASH!!!” “PRESSURE!!!” The beam of energy hit the creature and vaporized it. “That was close,” Mako said. “Do you think they know we’re here?” “It’s possible,” Ami replied. “Then we need to be extra careful,” Eric added. “We don’t want to be captured and ruin this mission.” They all crept to the castle. When they got to the front gates, there were no guards. They carefully opened the door and walked inside. They walked up the spiral staircase to the royal chamber. There sat Queen Serenity and King Endymion. Queen Serenity was crying for her daughter Chibi-Usa. “Eric-san, you’ve returned! And you’ve brought the scouts too!” King Endymion welcomed him and the scouts. Mamoru looked at the king. He was middle-aged by now, with gray hair. ‘This is what I’m supposed to be?’ he thought. ‘And look at Usako. She’s going to grow up to be so beautiful and graceful.’ Usagi looked at her future self too. She thought, ‘Wow, I look pretty cool in the future, for being a mom!’ She walked up to the queen and put a hand on her shoulder. “Um…uh…hello. I guess I’m you…in the past.” “Yes, you are, Usagi-chan. Welcome to your future. The Negaverse is plaguing us yet again.” She looked at her past form and remembered what it was like to be a teenager…but she hadn’t been an ordinary teenager. She was Sailor Moon, champion of justice! Now she was the queen of Crystal Tokyo and her daughter was missing. She started to cry again. Usagi reached into Mamoru’s pocket and pulled out a handkerchief. She handed it to Serenity, who accepted it gracefully. “Your Majesties, we have to figure out how to get the princess back.” “Yes, Eric-san. But what can we do? The Imperium Silver Crystal is of no use against them anymore.” “Hey, wait!” Usagi looked at Serenity with hope. “Maybe one Imperium Silver Crystal can’t do anything, but I have mine from the past also. What if we try to defeat them using both of them?” “Hey, that’s an idea!” Rei said. “It might work,” Serenity replied. “But how do we get them somewhere that we can defeat them and not hurt Chibi-Usa?” “That’s easy,” Mamoru said. “Eric-san and I can disguise ourselves as soldiers for the Negaverse and we can sneak Chibi-Usa out.”(hmmm…I think that’s a subconscious Star Wars ref there…what do ya think?) Eric nodded in agreement. “Well, the Negaverse base is just north of here. It’s heavily guarded.” “Who’s in charge of this attack anyway?” Rei asked Eric. “Um…some woman…I think her name is Beryl or something like that.” “Beryl? But we destroyed Queen Beryl!” “I heard something about Queen Beryl having a daughter sometime in the past. I believe this is her.” “Well that can’t be good.” “Well, we have to save Princess Chibi-Usa. Let’s go!” North of the castle… Tuxedo Kamen and Eric walked towards the base. It was dark and cold, like the Negaforce that controlled it. Sailor Mercury had followed to analyze the situation, but hid from the guys so as to not blow their cover. Eric and Tuxedo Kamen walked towards the gate, and sure enough there were 10 guards there, armed and ready. They tried to defend themselves, but the guards were to many. Suddenly, they heard a shout. “SHINE AQUA…ILLUSION!!!” The guards were surrounded by ice and the guys beat them to a bloody pulp. “Thanks, Sailor Mercury.” “No problem, Eric-san.” The three walked into the base, watching carefully for attackers. It was so quiet, it was unsettling. Sailor Mercury opened her mini-computer and started pushing buttons. “Guys, I picked up a reading of energy from over there.” She pointed to a door that had a huge padlock on it. “Do you think they have Chibi-Usa in there?” Tux asked. “It’s possible, but it could also be a trap.” They walked towards the door carefully. Tux used the knife in his cane to pick the lock and they walked into the room. “Mamo-chan!” “Chibi-Usa!” Darien ran to his future daughter and gave her a hug. Eric looked at them. ‘How can I do this? They look so happy. And what about Mako-chan? I don’t want to hurt her. But I was given orders by Queen Beryl.’ He turned around and closed the door. Tux looked at him questioningly. “What are you doing?” “Just following orders.” He waved his hand Tuxedo Kamen, Sailor Mercury and Chibi-Usa were bound by magic, back to back to back, on the floor. “I honestly hate to do this, but I was given instruction to capture you. My story was true, for the most part. When I left the Negaverse, I was sent to Crystal Tokyo as a spy. I knew that they were coming to capture Chibi-Usa, as did I know that I’d be sent to get you and the Sailor Senshi.” Eric closed his eyes, then called the evil queen. She appeared in a magic cloud. “So, Eric, you’ve managed to capture two of the past scouts…WHERE ARE THE REST OF THEM????” “Your majesty, they are all in the castle, awaiting our return with the princess. I will simply return and say that Tuxedo Kamen had been captured and that I came to get the rest of them.” “Excellent idea, young soldier,” Beryl replied with a nod. “I shall return with the rest of the scouts.” He disappeared in his cloud of smoke. At the castle… “Where are the guys and Mercury?” Usagi asked. “They should be back soon,” Mina replied. “Yeah, this is strange. I sense some bad vibes here,” Rei said. “Really? From what, Rei-chan?” Mako asked. “I’m not sure, but I think we should keep an eye out with that Eric guy…something just doesn’t seem right about his story.” “Really? I don’t know. He seems pretty honest to me.” “Yes, but that’s usually when you have to be especially careful. I know you like him, Mako-chan, but you have to watch out.” “Yeah, I guess.” She sat there, thinking about Eric. ‘What if Rei-chan’s right? What if his story isn’t true?’ At almost right that instant, Eric ran in the door. “Help! They captured Sailor Mercury and Tuxedo Kamen!” “Oh no! We have to help them!” The senshi all ran out the door, towards the base. Back at the base… “So, this is the legendary Sailor Mercury…how charming!” Beryl reached her hand to lift Ami’s face. Ami bit her. “Ouch, you little brat!” “You’d better stay away from our friend, you Nega-bitch!” Beryl turned around to see the remaining senshi and Eric standing there. “And what are you going to do about it?” “I’m going to have to hurt you, that’s all…I am the pretty suited soldier, Sailor Moon! And in the name of the Moon, I will punish you!” Suddenly, she heard the door slam shut. Eric stood there guarding it. “What? Huh? What are you doing, Eric-kun?” Mako’s face was full of concern. Tuxedo Kamen answered for him, “Sailor Senshi, this was a trap! Eric was a spy sent to Crystal Tokyo then to the past to capture us!” Mako gasped. “You bastard! You told me that you were there for our help and that I was the most beautiful person you’d ever seen! And it’s all a lie!” “Well it’s not all a lie. You are the most beautiful person I’d ever seen. Mako-chan, come with me, and we will rule with our great power!” “Never! JUPITER OAK EVOLUTION!!!” She shot the leaves at Eric and he ducked. He gathered a ball of energy and shot it at her. He hit her square in the chest. “NO! What have I done? Mako-chan!” He ran over to her. Usagi almost used her scepter on him, but Mina stopped her. She said, “Usagi-chan…I really do believe that even if Eric is with the Negaverse, he still cares for Mako-chan. Maybe this will get him to change his ways.” Eric started to cry. “Mako-chan, my love. Please don’t leave me.” Lita opened her eyes and looked at Eric. “Mako-chan!” “What are you doing? Shouldn’t you be helping the Negaverse?” “I can’t. I can’t risk losing you. Mako-chan, I love you.” With that, he leaned down and kissed her. Usagi looked at them and sighed. Eric looked into Mako’s eyes and she replied, “I love you too, Eric. But please, for your good and mine, change your ways. Become good, and fight with us.” “Anything for you, my love.” He looked at Usagi, who knew exactly what to do. She pulled out her scepter and said the words, “MOON HEALING…ESCALATION!!!” All the evil in Eric’s heart went away, and he stood up, filled with a new energy. He looked at Queen Beryl and said to her, “Beryl, you’re going down!” He gathered up his ball of energy. Mako stood up and gathered her lightning. “JUPITER…THUNDER…DRAGON!!!” The ball of energy and the lightning dragon hit Beryl and destroyed her. Usagi freed Ami, Mamoru and Chibi-Usa and they all returned to the castle. Back at the castle… After the scouts and Tuxedo Kamen were returned to the present day, Eric stood in shame in front of the king, queen and princess. “I’m so sorry for what I did, King Endymion. I was misled by the Negaverse, but Mako-chan saved me.” Eric bowed to the king and queen. “Eric, you have shown me that you truly deserve the position that your father held all those years ago. I want you to be my personal assistant.” “King Endymion, I am truly honored by this, but I am returning to the past to be with Mako-chan. I can be a regular teenager!” “I understand. Well, be careful and have fun!” Chibi-Usa added, “And be good to Mako-chan, she’s a good friend!” “I promise I will, your highnesses.” Tokyo, present day… “Oh, no, I’m late again!” Makoto ran down the street towards the school when she felt a strange presence. She turned around to see a person standing behind her. He was tall and had dark hair. But what got her was his eyes. Bright blue. She suddenly realized who it was. “Eric-kun!” She ran up to him and hugged him tightly. “Yes, Mako-chan. I have returned from the future to be with you. Will you spend the rest of your life with me?” “YES, Eric-kun…of course I will!” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. He handed it to her. Inside was a ring. It was white gold with an diamond in the center. On one side of the diamond was a smaller sapphire and on the other side was an emerald. “Oh, Eric-kun, it’s beautiful!” He took the ring out of the box and put in on her ring finger. It shone like it knew that Mako and Eric had been meant for each other. Just then, Usagi ran past. Mako yelled, “Hey Usagi-chan! Come here!” Usagi walked over and Mako showed her the ring. Serena started crying. “What’s wrong?” Eric asked. “It’s just so beautiful. That and I’m kind of jealous. Mamo-chan never gave me anything like that!” Mako sighed. “You just wait, Usagi-chan. One day, Mamo-chan will give you a ring like that and you’ll be as happy as she is…well you’ll both be as happy as she and I are,” Eric said. Usagi gave both Eric and Mako a hug, then bolted to school. Mako looked at her fiancée and smiled. Eric smiled back. “Hey Eric-kun. One question.” “Anything my love.” “If you came back from the future, do you still have your powers?” “No, I don’t. I used the last of my powers to defeat Queen Beryl. That power had been given me by the Negaverse, and it’s the same power that helped destroy it. Kind of ironic, isn’t it?” “Yeah, it is.” Eric took Mako’s hand and they walked towards the park. “Eric-kun?” “Yes?” “School is that way.” “I know. You’re not going today. We’re going to enjoy our first day together alone.” Mako smiled. They walked into the park and sat on the grass. Mako laid down and Eric laid down beside her.
