FINAL AWAKENINGS CHAPTER FOUR _________Jupiter's Stormy Effect_________ Sunshine streamed through Lita's bedroom window. She turned over and tried to block out the light. A bird began to chirp and Lita resisted the urge to throw her alarm clock at it. After five minuets of listening to the bird and fighting the sunlight, Lita threw her covers off and sat up, "ALRIGHT ALREADY! I'M AWAKE! Damn sunshine!" she muttered under her breath. After she had dressed and showered, Lita sat down and stretched. "I'm supposed to do something today..." she mumbled thoughtfully, casting a glance at her clock. Lita closed her eyes and smiled, enjoying the peaceful moment. "I wonder what the little family is doing today..." She sat bolt up right as realization dawned in her. "*That's* where I'm supposed to be!" Lita jumped from her seat and ran as fast as she could for the door. She was already about ten minuets late. She was supposed to help Serena and Rini bake cookies at Darien's apartment. 'I hope we don't end up burning down Darien's building!' Lita thought with a wince and a sigh. Serena was more mature, she would admit that. She even had become a B student. It didn't mean that she had stopped daydreaming, whining, or being late. These activities simply had decreased drastically. 'She still can't cook to save her life though...even if she did pass home EC.' ************************************************************************** "One cup sugar!" Rini called to Serena as she studied the peanut butter cookie recipe. "CHECK!" Serena called back "One cup brown sugar!" "CHECK!" "And finally, three quarters of a cup peanut butter!" "And final check! I think we're ready!" Serena announced as she surveyed Darien's kitchen. She noted with a smile, that they hadn't started baking yet, and the kitchen was already a mess. Darien strolled into the kitchen where the girls were working. "So how's it going..." he trailed off when he caught site of his girlfriend and future daughter. They were both caked with flour and sugar. His kitchen wasn't faring much better either. "What happened here?" he asked in a slightly choked voice. "Um..." Serena started. "Flour fight?" Rini said with a forced smile. Raye, who had been with Darien in the living room, came in. She smacked her palm to her forehead, "Great! What have you two Meatball Heads done this time?!" Serena folded her arms across her chest. "We had some fun, Raye! Or does a person with so little personality as you not know what that is?" "Uh-oh," Mina muttered as she walked into the room with Amy, Luna and Artemis. "Here it comes..." "Yeah! I do know what fun is! But at least I don't have to declare every place I try to cook in a toxic waste dump! I mean, look at what happened to *my* kitchen the last time I let you within spitting distance of it!" Raye yelled back as she mimicked Serena's position. "You still haven't forgotten about that?! It was TWO YEARS ago! It's not like I burned the temple down or anything...!" Serena shot back. "Maybe not, but you-" "HEY GUYS!" called a voice through the door. "Is anyone in there? HELLO?! YOU GOTTA BE HERE BECAUSE YOU SAID WE WOULD BAKE COOKIES TODAY!" Some banging soon followed. 'Saved!' thought Luna and Artemis as they ran to the door with Darien following close behind them. Opening the door Darien said just one thing to Lita, "Thank you for saving my sanity!" Lita looked at him confused for a second until she remembered the racket she heard before she knocked. "No prob!" Lita said as she stepped in to the entryway. "And just think!" she called loud enough for everyone in the apartment to hear. "You get to spend the rest of your life, and all others, dealing with it!" "HEY!" Serena and Raye exclaimed as Lita, Darien and the cats entered the kitchen. "You don't mean it, do you Lita?" Luna asked in a pained voice. She turned to Rini who looked thoughtful for a moment before smiling at Luna and nodding. Luna sighed and put her head down. 'And we're going to live for eternity!' "Yikes! Looks like a hurricane has been through here!" Lita said as she gaped at the mess that was Darien kitchen. There was flour *everywhere.* It covered the stove and sink in layers. Darien's dishtowels were in definite need of rescuing and not to mention, Serena and Rini were covered from head to toe with the stuff! "Yeah," Raye snorted. "Hurricane SERENA!" She glanced at the miniature form of Serena, "And Tropical Storm Rini!" Rini and Serena gaped at the fire warrior. Serena opened her mouth to respond, but Rini beat her there. "Look who's talking, PYRO!" "Small Lady!" Serena and Darien yelled at the same time in the voice that all kids know. Rini stopped and bent her head. "I'm sorry, Raye. I'll never do it again," she recited the line in a hypnotized tone. "Like you mean it, Serenity Shields," Serena said in a menacing voice as she crossed her arms. Rini winced slightly at the use of her real name. She was rarely, if ever, called that except for formal events. "I'm very sorry, Aunt Raye. I won't call you Pyro ever again." Satisfied that Rini was sincere, Serena turned to Lita and looked at her slightly puzzled. "What is it?" She glanced to the others, who all had the same shocked look on their faces. "WHAT?! WHAT?!" "I never knew you had it in you, Meatball Brains," Raye muttered under her breath. Serena simply looked a little confused. Ok, a lot confused. Amy intervened, "What Raye means is, that we didn't think you would...punish Rini." Rini still had her eyes downcast as they discussed Serena's behavior. She had to smile slightly, 'She's getting to be so much like Mommy. She's seventeen now. It won't be long before the time comes.' ************************************************************************** Rose stumbled down and grit her teeth against the pain that was caused in her ankle from her fall. "HA!" a tall girl with red hair in a high ponytail snorted as she brushed off her hands. "No one makes comments about me and gets away with it!" Rose glanced up to Charity and sneered as she desperately began to blink tears from her eyes. When she had first come to the orphanage, Charity and her crew had decided to make her life a living hell. They had picked on her, teased her, pushed and shoved her. Rose had put up with it, and now it seemed that she hadn't grown up. Terren began to run towards Rose in an attempt to 'save' her when a voice interrupted the girls laughter. "Is there a problem here?" Terren stopped and looked up. Lita, Raye, and Mina were standing off to the side of Rose and glaring at the girls. Charity and her friends' simply glared back at the new girls. "I believe that this was a *private* conversation!" Charity said with a threatening voice. "Now, buzz of!" Mina helped Rose up and let her lean on her for support. "Who do you think you are?" Mina asked. "You can't just beat up on people like that!" Charity pointed her nose into the air, "Well, I can't help it if she thought she was better than me and started taunting that she had been adopted and I wasn't." She stuck her nose up further and folded her arms. "I mean, the only reason she was adopted at all was out of pity! Rose, who had regained her composer, glared evilly at Charity and her friends. "I must be better then you; no one would dare adopt a snobby bitch like you! Not even out of pity!" Charity gasped and looked around, hoping to find away to escape with a shred of dignity. She saw none and got even more embarrassed when she heard a deep laugh and clapping. "Way to go, Rose!" the deep voice yelled. Charity turned and saw a man standing with four women, and a teenager, all of whom were clapping. 'Oh god! I embarrassed myself in front of that hunk?!' Charity turned and ran, her friends following close behind. Lita slapped Rose on the back, "You go girl! Put her in her place!" The others nodded and smiled at her, giving their own congratulations and thumbs up. A woman with dark green hair pulled into a tight bun stepped forward, "Why don't you come inside and get cleaned up? Serena was just telling us about you. And any friend of hers, is a friend of ours!" Rose looked up in surprise and smiled. "Gosh, Serena," she told the girl, "you sure are popular!" The woman with dark blue hair stepped forward, "She helped us out of a tight spot a few years ago! She believed in us when no one else would. By the way, I'm Catsy!" she chirped. A woman with white hair stepped up, "My name is Birdy!" "I'm Avery," one with red brown hair told her. "Prisma," the one with green hair told her in a whisper. ************************************************************************** "They are getting too close...far too close," the shadow man whispered. He turned to the woman standing in front of him. "You must stop them. Stop them before they get any more powerful!" he commanded. The woman laughed an awful laugh and disappeared. ************************************************************************** "So, Rose, how did you get mixed up with that group?" Darien asked as he took a seat across from the girl in the four sisters' make up shop. Rose shook her head, "I don't know. I started going to this orphanage when I was six and ever since then, all's that they've done is tried to make my life a living hell!" She furiously brushed some bangs from her face and sighed. "Now, I guess they're jealous of me because I was adopted and they weren't." Darien nodded, "Sounds logical enough. I mean, why else would they when you've done nothing to them?" Rose shrugged, "I don't know!" She sighed again and remembered something. "OH! Darien, by chance do you know a woman named Helen Jackson?" she asked. Darien looked at Rose in surprise and answered, "Well, yeah. I lived in her orphanage until I was ten. After that I went to visit her as often as I could. Haven't been there in a few years though. You know her?" Rose nodded. "YEAH! I live there! Moved in when I was six and stayed there until I was fourteen. When the Kent's died, I came back until I could, legally, live on my own." Darien became even more interested. Serena hadn't said anything about her being an orphan. "You don't have any family?" he asked softly. Rose shook her head no. "How? How did they die?" Rose didn't answer. "I feel a lot of pain coming from you, Rose. I do know how you feel, and it helps to talk about it. Rose didn't meet his gaze as she spoke, "A car crash. There was a car crash and, I don't remember much of what happened after that." She took a deep breath before continuing, "I remember that I was thrown from the car and that a woman with silver hair saved me and said that 'It wasn't my time.' That's all. I was taken to an orphanage and lived there." Darien nodded and smiled sadly at her as the two continued their conversation. ************************************************************************** Prisma sat on a chair and buried her face in her hands. "Are you sure?" she whispered as she looked up. Glancing around the room she saw that her sisters weren't doing much better. Each had a mirror image of shock and horror on her face at the news the Sailor Scouts had just delivered to them. Serena nodded and took Prisma's hands and gave them a squeeze. "I'm sorry, Prisma, everyone. But I just thought you should know...Rubeus may attempt to come after you." The four women nodded. "Well, now that that's done, my daughter has been asking to see you four for a week now! Can she stop by sometime?" Serena asked with a mischievous smile. "Daughter?" Avery questioned. Her eyes lit up in remembrance, "The Neo-Princess? Rini's back?!" she squealed. The three girls nodded and one rolled her eyes, "And now, we've got two Meatball Heads to deal with!" Raye exclaimed. Serena stuck her tongue out at the fire warrior and turned back to the sisters. "So, can she visit?" "OF COURSE!" the women yelled at the same time with smiles on their faces. Darien walked into the back room, "Are you done? We promised to take Rini to the movies today, Serena," Darien reminded her. Serena nodded and led the way out of the back room. "So is tomorrow-" was all she said before the attack started. ************************************************************************** "Are you ready?" a woman whispered to what appeared to be a child. At the child like creature's affirmative nod, the two ran out of their cover and began attacking their intended targets................with water balloons. ************************************************************************** As a sudden rain of water balloons caught all nine of the women and one man walking out of the back room by surprise. Within seconds, they were drenched from head to toe. Looking up, they saw the culprits. (AN: I *know* that they're inside of the store, but I have a reason, so live with it, k?) Rose Shilds. Serenity Shields. "YOU TWO ARE SO DEAD!" Lita yelled as she ran towards the duo at break neck speed. Rini and Rose ran in different directions out of the store, still throwing water balloons. All of the victims smiled and took off in the two different directions. Serena, Raye, Catsy, Prisma, and Mina went one way after Rini. Darien, Amy, Lita, Avery, and Birdy went the other way after Rose. ************************************************************************** Rose had to grin as she ran from her new friends. Rini had just shown up at the make-up shop with a bucket full of water balloons and asked if she wanted to help. 'Did she know that I love playing pranks? But is that even possible?' Rose was snapped out of her thinking state and back into real life when she felt someone grab both of her arms, and prevent her from moving. She struggled at first, until a voice told said, "Don't even try to escape, Rosie! I'm a bit stronger then you." <:Flashback:> Rose saw herself running from a man in dark armor. It was late at night and the two weren't supposed to be out. She jumped over a wall and the man did the same. She crawled under foliage in the forest, and the man did the same. Finally, she came to a cliff and stopped. She didn't have anywhere else to go and was frantically looking for a way out. The man came from behind her and grabbed her wrist. Rose struggled with all her might and then began to howl as the man tickled her mercilessly. "YOU JERK!" she yelled. <:End Flashback:> Rose stopped struggling momentarily, until she felt another person come up. "What do you think we should do with her, Darien?" Avery asked with an evil gleam in her eye. "I say we tickle her!" Lita said enthusiastically while she playfully cracked her knuckles. The others nodded in agreement and dove at their offender, tickling her mercilessly. Rose kicked her legs and howled and then began to cry out, "UNCLE! UNCLE! UNCLE!!!" "This means you're going to have to clean up the shop!" Birdy told her while she laughed. "THAT'S FINE! JUST STOP!" "Alright," they said at the same time and let her go. Rose panted for a moment and glared at the offending ticklers, who smiled innocently. Rose pivoted on her heel and started walking back to the store, with a ridiculous smile on her face. She hadn't had that much fun in years. 'This is real friendship, isn't it? This is what I've been missing all my life...' As the group rounded the last corner to the shop they saw Serena carrying Rini and the others walking behind her. It was obvious that Rini was in trouble. "And just where did you get all of those water balloons?" Serena was asking as she and the others came closer. Rini crossed her arms and looked to her father for help, who just shook his head and told her silently to listen. "I found them in Sammy's room. I think he was gonna use em on us one day." Serena shook her head. Catching a glimpse of Rose, she stopped talking and put Rini down. She would finish punishing her daughter later. "So you caught Rose, huh?" Getting an evil gleam in her eyes she smiled, "Did ya make her beg for mercy?" ************************************************************************** Rose wiped her brow and put the last of the cleaning supplies up. The girls and Darien had gone and left. Everyone but her Rini and Serena were alone in the store with the sisters. Rose had insisted that since she had made the mess, she should clean it up. The five others had simply helped silently despite Rose and Rini's protests. Now the job was all but finished and the four sisters had stepped into the back room to close their shop up for the night. "Well," Rose stood up and brushed her hands on her jeans. "That's that!" She turned to Rini and mock glared at her. "See if I ever listen to you again." Rini giggled and Serena rolled her eyes. "It's your own fault, ya know!" Rini told her. ************************************************************************** A woman brushed her hair out of her eyes and gazed at each of the shops she passed. 'It must be here somewhere!' she thought almost desperately. 'Where could it possible be?!' Then her eye caught something. It was a small store, but that's what she was looking for, and it had the right name: "Silver Cosmetics." "Those traitors will finally get what they deserve," the woman said with a laugh as she disappeared. ************************************************************************** "Bye, girls! We'll see you later!" Avery called as Serena, Rose and Rini left the store and began head home. "Bye, Avery, Prisma, Catsy, Birdy!" Rini called as she skipped down the sidewalk. She suddenly stopped as she remembered the lecture she was going to get when she got home. The three of them were barely ten feet out the door when they heard a scream come from inside the store, "Silver Cosmetics." Rushing back inside, the three were greeted with a site they were half- expecting and half not. A youma stood over the four sisters. That was the expected part. The unexpected part was who was controlling the youma. "EMERALD!" Rini yelled as she got a look at the green-haired woman. She took a few terrified steps back and began to shake uncontrollably. Serena immediately grabbed Rini by the wrist and pulled her behind her as Rose jumped in front of her friend to protect her. 'Emerald? Who is *she*?' 'Obviously someone bad, Rosie! Just find a way to transform!' 'Oh, yeah. I knew that!' '*sigh*' Emerald laughed evilly and looked to Rini. "Well, well. Seems that the little Rabbit is in the city after all. We had almost given up looking for you!" She turned to Serena and smiled wickedly, "Be a dear for me and make sure that the brat stays here? After all, this won't take long. I only need to dispose of these four traitors!" Prisma stood up and glared at Emerald evilly. "We aren't the traitors! We only did what was in our hearts! We have the forgiveness of Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion! You can not take that away from us. Not now," she told Emerald. "A heart?" Emerald snorted disbelievingly. "Since when can you claim one of those?! You helped lead the attack against Crystal Tokyo. You tried to kill the Sailor Scouts. You also, as I recall, tried to destroy the Small Lady on more then one occasion." She gave a throaty laugh and smiled evilly at the sisters, "And you say you have a heart? You aren't human. You are just half-breeds. Dark Moon officers who want to be human." She narrowed her eyes, "You are pathetic." "What?" Rose whispered. She looked between Rini and the sisters who were crowded in a corner. "I don't understand..." 'Traitors? What is going on here?! Wait...! RABBIT! Isn't that what Rubeus called the person he was looking for?' She looked back to Rini who, was hiding fearfully behind Serena's legs. 'What do they want with a child?' "ENOUGH!" Emerald roared. She turned to the monster standing near the sisters. It was definitely a Droid. The jewel mounted on its forehead made that obvious. It was a small one, compared to others. It seemed to be about five feet tall, and was made completely of water. "Droid Liquada*! Destroy those four!" she commanded while pointing to the former Dark Moon officials. "I just don't think so," a voice told Emerald angrily. "JUPITER THUNDER CLAPS ZAP!" A ball of lightning streaked towards Emerald and barely missed as the witch teleported out of the way. "Well, well. Look who is back!" Mars said as she stepped forward into the light. "I can't believe that you're still alive, you old hag!" Venus yelled as she jumped into the store from an open window. "If you were smart, you would know to never come back here," Mercury stated calmly. In a flash of black, Tuxedo Mask stood in front of the three girls currently without powers. "You'll never touch her. Not as long as Sailor Moon and I live." Emerald looked around. "Kill them," she said flatly, her voice void of all emotions. She glared at Rini, "*All* of them." With that, she was gone. Liquada roared and released a powerful blast of water, herself, at the four sisters. "NO!" Mars yelled and released her own attack. "MARS FLAME WAVE!" The wall of flames collided with the icy dark waters and dissipated them into steam with neither one powering over the other. A standstill. "MERCURY BUBBLES BLAST!" A thick mist encompassed the surrounding area, temporarily blinding all those present. Liquada looked around, trying desperately to find the Sailor Scouts. Terren ran into the room and jumped on to Rose's shoulder. He looked at her with his deep sea green eyes and the girl immediately understood. Casting one last glance at Rini through the fog, she slipped out the door and into the deserted street. ************************************************************************** Serena looked around for a place to escape as the Sailor Scouts continued to battle the youma. She gave Rini's wrist a quick squeeze and pulled her along with her as she signaled to the four sisters to follow her out. She took off to the back room and hurriedly transformed. ************************************************************************** Terren swore under his breath. "ANOTHER ONE! How many lackey's does this enemy have?" Rose simply nodded to his comment, still trying to digest the information she had just heard. Narrowing her eyes, she decided to do the only think she knew how to do. Give them hell on a silver platter. "EARTH STAR POWER!" Sailor Earth posed for a moment with her staff in both hands before completely ignoring her guardian cat and rushing inside to save her friends. ************************************************************************** "VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!" The Sailor Scouts held their breaths as Sailor Venus' attack ripped through the air. Sailor Earth watched with a small smile as the attack hit the youma and...went right through her, crashing into a wall. "WHAT?!" Venus yelled. "That was the last attack that we hadn't used! Nothing can beat her!" Sailor Earth stepped forward and spoke with a calm, ominous voice, "Then let me try." "EARTH MAGMA BOIL!" The lava ball whirled around Sailor Earth's hands seconds before she hurled it towards the monster in a sphere of fire. The monster simply smirked and then split itself into two pieces, allowing the fire to pass right threw it. "Crap," was all she said. Sailor Earth turned to the others and gave them a worried look. "Ok. Anybody got any bright ideas?" "I do," Liquada said in a voice that made her sound as though she were under water. "All of you can go to hell!" With an angry cry, Liquada sprayed water in the direction of everyone standing in the room. Sailor Moon was hit first and slammed into a wall as a result, knocking her unconscious. "NO!" Tuxedo Mask yelled as he ran to his love. Scooping her up he quickly checked for a pulse. Finding one, he gave the Scouts a nod that she was all right. The entire group let out their breath and concentrated on the youma, leaving their friend in the more than capable hands of Tuxedo Mask. Sailor Earth kneeled next to her and took Sailor Moon's hand. She looked up to Tuxedo Mask whose eyes were focused on her face. His face was slightly paled with both anger and worry. The normal calm that was in all of the Sailor Scout's faces was gone. Sailor Earth looked at each in turn and couldn't help but be fearful of their expressions. Each looked ready to kill. Sailor Jupiter clutched her fists in hate. She heard a noise at the back door and turned. "SAILOR MOON!" Rini yelled as she ran into the room and kneeled beside her savior. "Mommy wake up..." she whispered so low that no one else heard it. But Jupiter knew what she had said. She gritted her teeth and turned back to the youma. Her eyes went wide as she saw what it was planning. Its entire body seemed to be glowing with energy and it had a target. The Royal Family. 'No...Not them. I won't let you take my family!' "JUPITER..." Sailor Jupiter yelled the name of her planet loud enough to catch the attention of the youma, who stood and looked at her as her lightning rod extended from her Tiara and electricity began to crackle around it. "THUNDER..." She crossed her arms in front of her chest as she would when she was doing her first thunder attack. Lightning began to play around her palms as well as her lightning rod. "STORM!" The lightning centered around her chest, where her hands were and exploded around her before circling back into a ball in front of her and erupting into a storm and striking the droid dead on. With a final scream, Liquada disappeared. "Don't play with electricity," Jupiter stated with a smile. "Nice shot, Jupiter," a weak voice from the ground said. "SAILOR MOON!" Slowly, painfully, Sailor Moon stood up and gave a 'V for Victory' sign. "I'm okay, guys. Just gonna feel that one tomorrow!" The others nodded in agreement. They'd been there before. The four sisters slowly walked out of the room. "This is going to take forever to clean up," Catsy said with a sigh as she inspected the store. "No kidding," Prisma agreed. "Rini," a soft voice whispered. The small girl looked up from Sailor Moon's side. "Yes, Sailor Earth?" "What is going on here?" she asked. "Why did that woman want you? Rubeus too. Why are they after you, Rini?" Earth turned to the sisters and addressed them, "And why was Emerald calling all of you traitors? You aren't-" she stopped abruptly. Rini had tears in her eyes. "I- forgive me, Sailor Earth," she nearly sobbed out, "but I can't tell you. I-I just can't!" she said with a choke. Sailor Earth nodded, feeling tears come to her eyes at the child's display. She could feel the pain that was radiating from the girl. It was excruciating. "We were originally with the Dark Moon, Sailor Earth," Prisma whispered. Sailor Earth whipped around and faced the four sisters. Her eyes urged her to continue, though Mars' eyes said the opposite. "It's like Emerald said: we betrayed the Dark Moon. Sailor Moon showed us love and friendship and everything that we were forced to live without." Catsy spoke next, "Please understand. We don't like our past, but we didn't know." Sailor Earth nodded and walked out of the store. She had thinking to do. ************************************************************************** 'I don't understand!' Earth thought as she fled the battle scene. 'Life has been so confusing since I first transformed. Now my friends are from the Dark Forces? And Rini is the one that they're after?! This isn't...What am I to do?' She was running so fast, she barely noticed when she got to the orphanage and threw herself onto her bed and cried herself to sleep. ************************************************************************** The attack was long over and the Sailor Scouts returned to their own homes. Darien had carried Serena home, despite her protests. Not that she terribly minded. Serena frowned as she looked at the bandage on her side. 'Oh well. Could have been worse. It could have been Rini...' Serena shivered at the thought of her daughter being hurt. It just seemed impossible. She would never let it happen. Serena smiled as she remembered the child who was asleep just down the hall. The smile soon faded into a frown as she remembered Rini's behavior over the past week. 'She's so different. I don't think the girls are noticing it, but I am; and I'm pretty sure that Darien is too. It's not her manners. She was always like she is now in her own way. But something happened that she isn't telling anyone. Something drastic...And Sailor Earth. Rini knows something about her too. What is going on here!?' ************************************************************************** Rini sat up in her bed and decided it was time to try again. This day had marked the fourth attack in almost two weeks. The Dark Forces had almost taken a whole week and a half off before attacking again. She was scared. Her Mother knew it. Her Father knew it. The cats and Sailor Scouts knew it. And Rini knew that none of them had any clue as to what she was afraid of. They were trying to find out, but that wasn't working so far. Rini felt two tears slide down her cheeks as she held her Luna Ball close. Gathering all of her courage, she pushed the small pink nose in the center of 'Luna's' face. "Puu?" Rini whispered hoarsely. Static. "PUU?" Rini asked more frantic this time. "Answer me, Puu!" Tears began to fall faster down the girls face and plop onto the sheets. "Please, Sailor Pluto. I need to know what happened to my Mommy and Daddy!" Static. Nothing. Rini let out an anguished cry and collapsed onto her bed, sobbing. It was the twelfth time she had tried to call in twelve days. ************************************************************************** Darien twisted in his sleep. Sweat was poring down his face in the midst of his dream. He began to whimper and call out names long forgotten. Darkness seemed to be surrounding him, but there was also light. There was something good. Darien woke up with a start and gasped. Breathing heavily, he tried to calm down. "No..." he whispered. "Not another one!" To be continued... Well, I know that end was confusing, but believe me- it all will be answered sometime or another! *The name "Liquada" I originally got from liquid. See? She was made of water! Liquada! Next week: I don't think I'm going to have a real chapter of this out, but instead a short thing about Roseanna's struggle through these times. I have been planning to do this, and I think I may actually do it next week. Hey, let me know what you thought! Sorry, I'm not very talkative, but it's one AM and I'm kinda tired! Later! Stef
