Quote of the Week: "As Serena's best friends, it's our job to dissect every little aspect of her love life until she's nothing more than a quivering mass of Jello begging us for mercy! Let the fun begin!" Raye-"Love Waits for You" by Stormlight (A must read!) FINAL AWAKENINGS CHAPTER 13 ____________Dance the Night Away____________ Humming a tune, Serena wrapped baby's breath around her hair buns and fastened them securely in place. Satisfied that it looked okay, she began to dress for the dance. ********************************************************************** Illene wiped the counters in the kitchen as she cast a tentative glance at her granddaughter doing her homework at the table. It had been a week and she still wasn't used to the fact that her daughter was Sailor Moon and that she had a daughter. 'This week has been too strange,' Illene thought as she shook her head. "Rini, what do you want for dinner since Serena's going to be gone?" Illene asked. Rini frowned as she looked up from her work. "Pancakes? I want pancakes!" she told her grandmother as she smiled. "That's what you always want!" a new voice intervened. Rini and Illene turned to see the five girls standing in the doorway with dresses slung over their shoulders. "Hello, Rini!" Rose said cheerfully. "Hi Auntie Rose!" the child squealed as she ran to her aunt for a hug. Rose hugged the girl back and shook her head when she pulled away. "You make me feel old, Rini!" "Twy bein hewr mather!" Serena told her friend as she came down the stairs with a bobby pin in her mouth and another being fastened into her hair. "Hey, girl friend!" Mina said with a smile. "Whoa...I love your hair!" she squealed as she touched the flowers she had put in her hair. "Darien's gonna fall on his knees when he sees how you look!" Serena blushed but it was quickly gone as Raye grabbed Serena's hand and dragged her up the stairs. "Well we don't want to scare the man! We've gotta get some makeup on your face!" "WAIT!" Serena yelled. "I thought we agreed that *Mina* was in charge of makeup! It's the only thing she's good at!" was the last thing the others heard as Serena was pulled up the stairs. "WHAT?!" Mina screamed as she ran up the stairs after the two. Laughing, the others soon followed to get ready for the Winter Dance. ********************************************************************** Rose smiled at her friends as they fussed over each other, fixing little thing with their dresses and hair. She was long done and had pulled out a sketchpad about twenty minutes ago. Serena was done and was sitting at her vanity watching the others. 'Maybe I should give this to Darien for his birthday or something,' Rose thought as she admired her work. It was a picture of Serena, smiling while looking at her friends. 'He'll love it!' Rose thought to herself as she added a few more details. "Wow, Rose," Luna said in awe as she looked at the picture she had just drawn. "That's beautiful!" The others stopped so they could get a look at what Luna was so astonished over and they too, gasped. "Oh wow! That's so life like!" Mina said as she took the picture. "You look more like a princess than ever, Serena!" she said with a smile. Serena smiled a little, if not sadly, at the picture. "This is nice, Rose!" Serena peered over her shoulder and caught a glimpse of some of the other things in her folder. Taking the notebook out of Rose's hands, Serena began to page threw them. All of the girls were amazed at what they saw. There were drawings of everyone and everything from the Silver Millennium with a few modern sketches thrown in here and there. "They were the biggest clues to my past," Rose explained. "At first they had no faces, but when I regained more of my memories I placed your faces in the right places and," she gestured to the pictures, "you see what they became." "You really do want to be an artist some day, don't you, Rose?" Lita asked as she leafed through the sketches. "Yeah, it'd be nice," Rose said dreamily. "But hey, I'll never be Michelle Kaioh!" she said with a half-hearted laugh. "You'll be better than Michelle Kaioh!" Mina told Rose as she slapped her on the back. "Now let's go knock 'em dead!" she screeched. ********************************************************************** Darien leaned back in his chair and sighed. Checking his watch, he saw that he still had half an hour before he went to pick up Serena and Rose. Picking up a drawing on the table, Darien smiled and sighed at the happy times that were displayed in the picture of the past. Himself and his Princess were holding on to each other as though there was nothing else in the world except for them. Queen Serenity was standing next to her daughter with pride and sadness written on her features. The three cats were at the Queens' feet looking prim and proper, where as the four Sailor Scouts were smiling mischievously at the person drawing the picture. There was one person missing in the picture. Sailor Earth. Darien gripped the thin sheet of paper tightly as a familiar worry came in his mind. There was no Rose in this picture, just as he was afraid that there wasn't one in the future. 'I will *not* worry about this!' Darien commanded himself. 'She has to be in the future! She has to be!' "She has to be..." he whispered to himself as he put the picture down and left his apartment to go and pick up his girlfriend. ********************************************************************** The doorbell rang just as Mina finished putting the final touches of her make up. Exchanging looks, the girls all ran downstairs to greet the boys. If not that, than to save Darien from Serena's father. Just as the seven got downstairs, they could here Kent starting in on the boy. "And make sure that she's home by midnight! She had better not be home any later than that time! And if-" "DAD!" Serena whined as she and the other rushed down the stairs. "You promised you wouldn't yell at Darien!" Darien's jaw dropped when he saw his girlfriend. She was dressed in a dark blue, sleeveless dress that reached down to her ankles. A white rose was embroidered on the top part of the dress, giving it a little more color. (AN: I own this dress! It's so pretty!) "Stop drooling, Darien," Rose commanded. "Ilene will have to clean the carpet if you keep that up!" Darien glared at his sister and turned back to his date. Pulling a red rose from thin air, Darien handed it to Serena, who smiled at him. Rini giggled a little, bringing her parents out from their romantic moment. "And what is so funny, Small Lady?" Serena asked her daughter as she put her hands on her hips. The doorbell rang and Ilene went to answer it while shaking her head at her daughter. "Just that you two never change." Rini shrugged. "It's funny." "Great. I can hardly wait," Raye muttered sarcastically. "Girls! The other guys are here!" Ilene called as they heard a door close. "Come on!" Andrew yelled from the entryway. "We're gonna be late!" Mina folded her arms across her yellow dress. "See if *he* gets a kiss today! Doesn't even come in and pick us up..." she mumbled as she and the others walked out of the living room, save for Serena and Darien. Darien bent down and gave his daughter a kiss on the cheek. "Rini, please be good for them today!" he reminded her. "I'm always good!" Rini protested with a pout. Luna P bopped up and down as if agreeing with her mistress. Serena and Darien exchanged a look out of the corner of their eyes and rolled their eyes. "Just don't run away from Luna and the others today!" Serena reminded her. Rini made another face and her parents laughed before going out to join the others. ********************************************************************** Onyxious stormed out of Endymion's cell with out information once again. 'Damn that man!' he thought savagely. 'Damn him to hell!' Bursting through the door of another room, Onyxious growled at its only occupant who stepped back from her watch. "Is he almost ready?" The woman nodded slightly and answered back. "He will be soon. It is taking longer to revive him because we must erase many memories from his mind. He will be ready on schedule." "Good," the evil king said with a smile. "However, he will not survive if he doesn't get new energy soon," the woman told him as she looked up from her report. Onyxious considered this for a moment before agreeing. "I guess it's time that we make an appearance on earth again. Since Jedite's death we haven't sent anyone out. Now is the time." ********************************************************************** Rose hung back as her friends danced the night away in the ballroom that all the schools in the Juuban district had splurged on for the dance. There was so much romance in the air that she almost couldn't stand it. However, she did have to admit that she was having fun for the most part, but there was no one for her to dance with. Unfortunately, the lead singer of the band had gotten sick so she hadn't been able to come. One of Raye's friends on the dance committee had managed to pull together all of the good singers she could, including all of the girls in the group and a couple of the guys. Because Serena and company was there mostly for the dance and not to sing, they were going to put in some CD's and let the band play instrumental music only at times. Right now, Raye was up singing, much to Chad's disappointment. A person leaning against the wall in the space next to her snapped her out of her reprieve. Rose turned to her right and smiled when she saw who was standing there. "Joining the other boyfriendless people, Lizzy?" she asked the red haired girl. Lizzy grinned. "Yeah," she answered back with a half smile. "But the good thing about that is that I can bug Andy a lot when he dances with me." Rose laughed. "Speaking of our idiot brothers, shouldn't they have danced with us a long time ago?" Rose asked. Lizzy grinned. "When you're in love as much as they are, I don't think anything short of an atomic bomb can break you and your love apart." "Never stopped them before," Rose muttered. "What was that?" Lizzy asked with a curious look on her face. Putting her hand behind her head, Rose laughed. "Uh-Nothing!" ********************************************************************** Serena rested her head on Darien's shoulder as he gently ran his hands through her hair. A familiar song by a familiar person was being sung in the background and Serena sighed in content as Darien held her tighter. "Oh starry night..." Serena softly sung with the lyrics. "Is this the moment I've dreamed of? Oh starry night, tell me is he my own true love?" "I sure hope so," Darien whispered to her as he kissed her nose. Serena smiled up at Darien, but her smile soon fell as she looked in his eyes. "Darien? What's wrong?" she asked. Darien shook his head. "It's nothing, Sere." Serena looked at him doubtfully. "I'm serious, Serena. Nothing." Serena smiled at him. 'He is such a bad liar.' "You're worried about Rose and the future, aren't you?" she asked. Her smile widened when Darien gave a start and looked at her with wonder. "How did you...?" he trailed off. Serena smiled and stopped dancing. "Darien, do you remember when Rini first found out that I was Sailor Moon?" she asked. "Yes." "What happened?" she inquired, already knowing the answer. "She ignored you. The little friendship you two *almost* had was pretty much destroyed when she found out that you were Sailor Moon. Because she thought..." Darien trailed off again, having his answer. Serena put her hands on his face. "Exactly. Sailor Moon isn't in the future, and she didn't want to get close to her and be hurt. She may be older, but I doubt she would change her strategies. Rose is definitely in the future. That's how Rini knew everything she did." Darien leaned down and kissed Serena softly. "What would I do with out you? Thank you, Serena." Serena kissed Darien harder and with more passion. "Let's not answer that question." Serena turned and saw Rose leaning against the wall looking sad. "I think the Terran Princess would like to dance! Besides, wasn't it tradition during the Silver Millennium that you two dance together at every ball?" Darien smiled and let go of Serena just as Raye stopped singing. The two applauded their friend and Darien went to dance with his sister. Darien made his way to Rose, feeling awful about neglecting her since she didn't have a date, when a blur of red disrupted his vision. Darien stopped before he could hit whatever it was and began to apologize. "I'm sorry. I didn't see-YOU?!" he practically yelled when he looked down and saw someone he had hoped to never see again. Charity. (AN: Remember her? She's the witchy girl that I had in a couple chapters at the beginning of this series. Let's get rid of her for good, eh?) Charity smiled flirtatiously and flipped her hair over her shoulder. "Hey," she said in a saucy voice. "You aren't by chance here alone, are you?" she asked. "No, I happen to be here with my girlfriend and sister," Darien answered back icily. "Now, if you'll excuse me." Darien walked away and Charity reached out and grabbed his arm. "I'm sure you would have a better time with me! Just ditch them and you can take me out somewhere!" By now, their argument had attracted some other people including all of the girls and their dates. Amy and Greg were having trouble holding the others back, but had a feeling that this wouldn't be too much longer. At least they hoped. Darien's eyes went cold. "Rose was right. People would have to be insane to think of adopting you. Now if you don't let go of me *right* *now*," Darien commanded, "than I'll have Amy and Greg let go of Lita and Raye and you can deal with them." "Get it through your thick head, Charity," Rose said as she stood behind her brother, "you are nothing. Now leave!" Holding her head up she turned on her heel. As Charity was walking out of the room, she called over her shoulder, "Just wait! When she dumps you, you'll be crawling back to me!" The crowd soon began to disperse after Charity had left with her tail tucked between her legs and Rose smiled. "I hope that now, I'm finally never going to see her again!" "Let us pray," Darien mumbled sarcastically. "Now that that's done, want to dance, Rose?" Rose smiled and nodded. "Serena reminded you that this was tradition, didn't she?" she asked as they began to dance. Darien scowled at his sister. "Shut up or you go back to the corner," he told her with mock seriousness. Rose stuck her tongue out at him and laughed. ********************************************************************** Serena watched with a smile on her face as Rose and Darien danced. She turned her attention to Mina who was slowly dancing in Andrews' arms with a content look on her face. Amy and Greg had somehow managed to shed their shy skin and were dancing rather close together, much to Serena's surprise and joy. Now that Raye was finished singing, she and Chad were enjoying some punch off to the side while flirting. Lita had brought Ken to the dance and no one was surprised when they automatically had started dancing and hadn't stopped. Serena grinned in approval at her friends. They had found their soul mates and now all Serena had to do was hook Rose up with hers. Serena looked to the other end of the room where a boy with brown hair and jealous green eyes stood. 'Not that I think *that* will be hard!' ********************************************************************** Timothy Jameson watched with jealousy as Rose dance and laughed with another man. Never mind that that man looked a lot like her, he was still jealous. 'Is there any way I can win her?' Tim thought to himself with a sigh. A sudden screeching from out side of the door brought Tim out of his dream world. He became even more awake when a giant purple monster dressed in a pink tutu came running through the door. ********************************************************************** Serena and everyone else but Darien and Rose were gathered around the refreshment tables sipping *non* spiked punch, a first at such a big dance. A sudden cry came from the other side of the room and Serena dropped her punch. "BAILAR**!" a droid in a tutu yelled out as she began to twirl, shooting out several dancing shoes that attached themselves to the other people in the room and began to drain their energy, including Tim. Screams were heard as students tried to run from Bailar. Darien and Rose ran up to the others and they exchanged glances. Greg and Andrew knew that they had to get out and some how convince Chan and Ken to do the same. It only took seconds for the Droid to make its way over to them. "Bailar!" she yelled as she shot more slippers at the group. "Watch out!" Rose cried as she pushed Mina and Andrew out of the way. "Everyone RUN!" Lita screamed. Everyone did as told and ran to the back of the chamber, and into a smaller room. Darien slammed the door shut behind them and several others began to pile things up in front of the door. Amy breathed a small sigh of relief. "There that should-" no sooner had she taken a breath than the droid began to try breaking through the door. Everyone backed up into a corner and gave little shrieks as more of the door chipped away. Ken wrapped his arms around Lita and pulled her behind him, earning a dirty look from the latter. Chad similarly tried to protect Raye who looked hesitantly at Serena. 'If we don't transform, they'll win. If we do, than Chad and Ken will know...' her mind trailed off in thought as she looked around the room. No other doors and no windows. No way out. 'There is no other way, is there?' "Everyone," Serena whispered getting the attention of the people in the room, "transform. Now!" she yelled. "Serena!" Amy gasped. "If we don't we die!" Serena argued. Lita nodded and stepped away from Ken who called after her. "Lita?! What's going on here?" "Let's get this over with!" Raye seethed while cracking her knuckles. "MERCURY COSMIC POWER!" "MARS COSMIC POWER!" "JUPITER COSMIC POWER!" "VENUS COSMIC POWER!" "EARTH COSMIC POWER!" "MOON CELESTIAL POWER!" In a flash of light seven super heroes stood in front of their friends. "LITA?!" Ken gaped at the warrior in green and light pink. "Raye?" Chad whispered as he watched the warrior in red. "Everyone, prepare your attacks!" Venus ordered as she lined up to the right of Sailor Moon. "Hey, whose leader here?" Sailor Moon argued. "Just shut up and do it, Meatball Head!" Sailor Mars yelled as she prepared her attack. "MERCURY ICE BEAM..." "SILVER MOON STAR..." "JUPITER THUNDER..." "VENUS CRYSTAL..." "EARTH GROUND..." "MARS FLAME..." Tuxedo Mask pulled out a fist full of roses, and aimed them carefully at the door. Suddenly, the banging on the door stopped and the Sailor Scouts lowered their guards. "Is it gone?" Earth asked as she held her staff in front of her. Sailor Mars turned and faced Sailor Earth. "No way, that would be too easy." "Who could have staged this?" Sailor Moon asked. No sooner had the words left Sailor Moon's mouth than an evil laugh sounded through the room. The Sailor Scouts groaned and the four boys who weren't used to it, covered their ears. "What is that?!" Chad asked as he covered his ears tighter. "Sounds like it could give someone a stroke!" Ken yelled. Jupiter put her arms in ready position and turned around. "Zoisite's isn't this bad so it has to be-" The laugh sounded again and the tall figure of Emerald appeared. "Emerald," she seethed. The woman floated above the others with the droid she was using behind her. "Well, well, how nice to see you again, Sailor Scouts!" "Wish I could say the feeling was mutual," Tuxedo Mask spat. Emerald stopped fanning herself and closed the pink abomination. "I'd shut up if I were you, Cape Boy! Bailar here could zap all of your energy in a split second for out great leader," she said with a smirk. "And who is your leader?" Sailor Moon asked while gripping the Star Wand. "Onyxious?" Emerald gave a start and landed on the ground in front of Sailor Moon. "How do you know..." she trailed off. Narrowing her eyes, Emerald growled. "It doesn't matter. BAILAR! Kill Sailor Moon!" she commanded as she laughed and disappeared. The Sailor Scouts formed a tight circle and glanced at each other. "Guess we're back to the battle, huh?" Venus said as she smiled. "Well than, let's go!" "VENUS LOVE CHAIN ENCIRCLE!" The chain of golden hearts quickly zipped through the air and wrapped around the droid, preventing its escape. Sailor Venus held the chain tightly and pulled on it as the monster tried to escape. "If you like dancing, try this!" Venus yelled as she pulled as hard as she could on the chain, causing the droid to have a spinning top effect. Bailar spun around several times before slamming into a wall and collapsing to the ground. "Good one, V-babe!" Sailor Moon said as she prepared her attack. "SILVER MOON ST-" was all she got out before the droid managed to regain its composer and lunge itself at Tuxedo Mask. Seeing this, Sailor Moon stopped her attack and ran forward as fast as she could, taking the body slam for her love. "SERENA!" Tuxedo Mask yelled as he dropped to his knees and cradled his girlfriend in his arms. Sailor Moon's eyes fluttered open before shutting again. Tuxedo Mask gently set her down and stood up with fire burning in his dark blue eyes. The Sailor Scouts stepped back, afraid of the anger they saw in his eyes. Holding his hand out in front of him, Tuxedo Mask unknowingly called forth the Terra Sword. Letting his heart guide him, Tuxedo Mask jumped forward and sliced the droid cleanly in half. Bailar crumbled to dust without a scream. "Whoa," Andrew breathed as he looked at Tuxedo Mask with surprise. Snapping out of his daze, Tuxedo Mask turned back to Sailor Moon, who was standing and looking in slight awe at the gem that was the droid. "You alright?" Tuxedo Mask asked Sailor Moon as he rushed to help her stand. Sailor Moon's eyes focused on Chad and Ken who were staring at the group in awe. "I'm fine. But we have something's we need to explain." ********************************************************************** Three figures in the shadows watched the whole battle. "So that is the Prince and Princess?" one of them with short hair asked. "I supposed," another with shoulder length hair whispered back. The final one looked at the Sailor Scouts and nodded. "The time had come for the awakening. A beginning of a new mission. No matter how many times we reincarnate, it is set in stone who we live for. We don't have to fight far away and alone any longer." The others turned and face the speaker. "At last, it is time," she told them as she watched the Sailor Scouts detransform and leave the room. ********************************************************************** It didn't take too long to give Chad and Ken the basics. Wanting to return to the dance, they agreed to hear the whole story later. Rose watched with a bit of longing as all of her friend continued to dance the night away with their loves. She sighed. 'I'll never find anyone. I've never even felt real love like what they have before and it wouldn't-' "Rose?" a familiar male voice said from behind her. Rose whipped around and came face to face with Tim Jameson. "Hi, Tim!" Rose greeted cheerfully. "What can I do for you?" Tim put his hand behind his head and blushed. "Well you see...Rose... I...um...that is um..." "You want to dance?" Rose put in with a smile. Tim blushed even more and nodded. "That is, if your boyfriend doesn't have a problem with it," he added hurriedly. "Boyfriend?" Rose asked confused. "Yeah the guy you were dancing with earlier," Tim answered. Rose stared blankly at him a moment and started laughing when she knew what he was talking about. She shook her head. "He is not my boyfriend! Legally, we aren't aloud to date! That's just Darien, my older brother!" she explained. "Brother?" Tim said quietly and then smiled and led Rose to the dance floor. ********************************************************************** Serena and Darien smiled as they watched Rose and Tim start dancing and talking. "Guess they finally got together," Serena murmured as she rested her head on the crook of his shoulder. Darien gently rubbed her back as they continued to dance. "And I'm not aloud to be too over protective, right?" he whispered to her. Serena looked up into his blue eyes and brushed her lips against Darien's. "Right." During this time, Raye had been speaking and the two only caught the last part of her speech. "This is the last dance and we have a special request for the last song from Darien to Serena. And may you two be forever happy. And if you're not, I'll bet it's Darien's fault and he won't live long. Goodnight," Raye said as she walked off the stage and winked at Darien who smiled his sarcastic thanks. As the music started playing, Darien pulled Serena in close to him and began to dance slowly to the music with her. The Dance by Garth Brooks. (AN: This is a sad song so if you don't want to cry while relating it to Serena and Darien, don't read it!) Looking back, on the memory of The dance we shared, beneath the stars above. For a moment, all the world was right. How could I have know, That you'd ever say goodbye? And now, I'm glad I didn't know The way it all would end, The way it all would go. Our lives are better left to chance. I could've missed the pain, But I'd of had to miss The dance. Holding you, I held everything. For a moment, Wasn't I the king? If I'd only known, how the king would fall. Hey who's to say, you know I might have changed it all. And now, I'm glad I didn't know The way it all would end, The way it all would go. Our lives, are better left to chance. I could've missed the pain, But I'd of had to miss The dance. Yes my life, It's better left to chance. I could have missed the pain, But I'd of had to miss The dance. Serena felt tears come to her eyes at the words. "Darien..." she whispered in a subdued tone of voice. Pressing a finger to her lips Darien shook his head slightly and Serena saw the tears in his eyes too. Ever so gently, the couple leaned in and kissed slowly and passionately with fresh tears in both of their eyes. Ken looked to Lita who was smiling and wiping her own tears away as she watched them. "Queen Serenity would be so proud," she whispered. "Who is Queen Serenity?" Ken asked as he held Lita's hand. Lita smiled and looked to the moon. "It's a really long part of our story." Mina came running up to them with joy in her eyes that was only there when she knew something no one else did. "Guess what?!" she squealed and then saw Serena and Darien. "Awe...if only her mother was here!" she sighed. Raye crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. "She probably can see everything that's going on right now, but what's up, Mina?" Mina was still gazing at Serena and Darien with a far away look in her eye. "Huh? Oh right!" She turned and pointed to where Rose and Tim were. "Serena was right! I can feel the power of the bond in my soul!" The others turned to where Rose was and their eyes popped out. And it sure wasn't because they were dancing. ********************************************************************** As the song ended, Rose felt tears come to her eyes as she thought about Serena and Darien's life together. "What is it, Rose?" Tim asked as they stopped dancing. Rose smiled and shook her head. "The song. It just seems to fit the way Darien feels." Smiling Tim nodded to her slightly. "He must love her very much." Rose nodded her agreement. Tim looked to the floor and fidgeted nervously. Putting his hand under Roses' chin, he tilted her head upwards. "Rose," he whispered, "what would you do if I kissed you right now?" Shocked, Rose looked up, but had no time to respond, as Tim's lips had already claimed hers. 'Wow...' was the only coherent thought Rose could think of right then. As the two pulled back, it was also the only thing that she could say. "Wow." Tim laughed and leaned his forehead on hers, "That's about how I sum it up!" ********************************************************************** "...so now, we have to figure out why Rini is here again and how it's possible for this evil to be back," Serena concluded as she rubbed her temples. It had been the shortest version of the story she could tell and she was still dead tired from everything that had been happening lately. Standing up and stretching, Serena yawned. "I think we should go home, everyone," Rose suggested. "It's been a long night." Suddenly, Serena's communicator began to go off and the girl's groaned. "Now what?" Serena muttered. "This is Moon," she spoke into the com before realizing that it wasn't Luna. "SERENA USAGI TSUKINO!" Kent Tsukino yelled as soon as he saw his daughter's face on the screen. "Oh, hi Daddy," Serena said in a sugary sweet voice as she looked at the others out of the corner of her eye. "Don't you 'Hi Daddy' me, young lady!" he yelled causing Serena to cringe. Out of the corner of her eye, Serena saw Rose making hanging and slashing motions to Darien who looked like he was greatly restraining himself from hitting her. "Do you have any idea what time it is?!" Sighing, Serena nodded her head. "Yes, I do, Dad. And there have been some Sailor problems and-" Suddenly, Serena's dad was pushed away from the screen and Ilene took his place. "OH NO! My poor baby! Are you all right? You're all right, aren't you? And the others?" she asked quickly. Serena smiled. "Yes, we're fine. It was only a small battle. I'm on my way home now, okay Mom?" With a sigh, Serena closed her communicator. "Let's go home before my dad decides he needs to brush up on his Army training skills." ********************************************************************** 'Is this some sign?' Serena asked herself and she stood up and looked at the moon outside of her window. 'Mother? Are we preparing for the future?' she thought. 'Should our friends and family know *before* Crystal Tokyo?' Whimpering from her bed brought Serena back from her thoughts. "Oh, Rini," she whispered. Walking over to her bed, Serena saw her daughter twisting and turning in nightmares. Sitting on her bed, Serena began to gently rub her daughters' back soothingly. "Why won't you tell me?" Serena whispered. "We can't help you if you don't tell us," she whispered. A flash of light from Serena's side made her quickly stand and face the Luna Ball. "Luna P?" she whispered. "Princess..." the voice of Sailor Pluto whispered from the ball. Serena leapt to the ball and grabbed a hold. "Pluto?!" she said frantically. Sailor Pluto's face appeared in the eye of the Luna P ball. "Yes, My Princess. I can not stay long, but I must tell you that the time is now. Or rather tomorrow. You must come to the future and help." Serena nodded. "Of course I will, Pluto!" Sailor Pluto smiled her appreciation. "The battles are becoming desperate. Thank you, Princess Serenity." In the blink of an eye, Sailor Pluto disappeared, leaving the young Princess alone with Rini. Serena let go of the Luna P Ball and watched it float back to its' mistress. Serena leaned down and kissed her daughters' brow. "Did you here that, sweetie? You're going home tomorrow." Serena got up and walked out of her room where she could here the voices of her three Guardian cats, Rose, Darien and her family. Darien stopped talking and stood up when Serena came down the stairs. They walked to each other and Serena through her arms around him. "What is it?" Darien asked with a little bit of concern in his voice. Serena pulled back and turned to the others. "Sailor Pluto says that it's time. We go to the thirtieth century tomorrow." To Be Continued... Alright! Yes! Cliffhanger! Cliffhanger! Hope you liked! Till next week! **Bailar means "To dance" in Spanish. Hey, I had a test to bomb in it this week. Stef-chan So anyone know what the quotes are?
